Clement Lee

In 1990, Clement began helping his parents in their family florist shop, Thornlie Florist, located in Thornlie Square Shopping Centre, Thornlie, Western Australia. Clement started off doing some unusual, large arrangements in silks for the shop and also some decorations using natural materials. They sold really well as they were quite different at that time. He gradually became more interested in floristry. Since 2003, Clement has been entering into the Interflora competitions. He took this mission seriously. Hence he studied floristry at Challenger Institute of Technology (formerly Challenger TAFE) and completed Certificate 4 in 2004.

With 20 years of floral experience, all Clement’s ideas come from his own feelings and imagination, apart from seeing floristry overseas and the work of leading designers. His style, designs and work have been identified as creative and unique.

Clement has had many opportunities to demonstrate and conduct workshops in Australia and overseas. He always likes to present new techniques and style to audiences. Clement now willingly passes on his knowledge and experience to the next generation of florists as a TAFE lecturer.
